This monster
chubb was bought to the net on light tackle and white maggot. The fish
weighed over 5lbs and took 30 minutes to land in heavy rain.
Date Sat 25th November 1995. A roach of 2lbs 6 oz was caught in the same session. |

A 2lbs 5oz roach caught whilst fishing for barbel. The fish took 3 maggots on a size 16 hook just as the light was fading.. | |

A 9 lbs barbel caught on
casters in July 1995. A 2.4lbs line and size 16 hook were
used. Not surprisingly this barbel which looks nackered
